Knight tournaments

The medieval tiltyard was constructed immediately after the stables renovation in 2009. This large tiltyard is a holiday venue of the greatest event of the year, i.e. grandiose knight tournaments.

Knight tournaments

Every July and August day except Monday, knight tournaments take place in the Dětenice tiltyard where warriors battle for fame and fortune. Knights in genuine armours rush their mighty horses and the helmets on their heads boast colourful plumes. Come and raise your adrenalin level by watching incredible stunts of gallant knights and their high-spirited steeds in colourful harnesses, ready to assault!
